The Art of Conversation: A Poetry Contest
Conversation and dialogue are fascinating, beautiful things to explore. They are explored in stories, novels, plays, and movies. But often, poetry is written about emotions and sensory observations, with little dialogue coming into play. This is a challenge to explore conversation in a poem.
Your poem can be any length. It can be any form you want, open or fixed, though please state what form you use. It can be something that happened and it can be something you made it up and it can be something you wish would happen. It can be an imaginary conversation; it can be an all-too-real one. It can be absolutely anything that you desire. It has to be a new deviation, though.
